Every year I got to the National Youth Workers Convention that Youth Specialties puts on and each year I walk away with so much! Inevitably, by the end of the convention a few things have risen to the top and have almost become "themes" for the convention for me. Sometimes they have been personal things and sometimes they have been ministry things.
The things that really stood out to me this year were just a few words:
Storying
Community
Experience
Learning/Teaching methods
There is a lot I could write under each one of these words and I my goal is to try and get some of this stuff out of my head this week so i'd love it if you would check back and dialogue with me about some of this stuff as I post it.
