Mom Update

Got this update from my mom and wanted to share it with you all...a bunch of you have been asking...

I’m done with chemotherapy but will continue with treatments until the end of the year with another drug. The neuropathy (A medical term describing disorders of the nerves, common symptoms associated with damage to the motor nerve are muscle weakness, cramps, and spasms as well as tingling, numbness, and pain. Pain associated with this nerve is described in various ways such as the following: sensation of wearing an invisible "glove" or "sock", burning, freezing, or electric-like, extreme sensitivity to touch.) is slightly helped with a medicine they gave me. The doctor said it would take at least three months for the neuropathy to start to go away.

Reconstructon will probably begin in May. That involves three surgeries. That process will take until the end of the year.

In two weeks I am to start another drug which I will be on for 5 years.

I’m feeling well except for my fingers and toes. I’m looking forward to my hair starting to grow back.

Thank you so much for your prayers.

Thanks for praying for my mom in this process.
In addition to all this my parents have decided to significantly downsize and are moving within the next month.
They have a lot going on and would appreciate your continued prayers!
